The Department’s Educational Curriculum includes fifty six (56) subjects, whose content is quoted below.
The courses are offered in two semesters, the autumn semester and the spring semester of the academic year that begins on September the 1st of each calendar year and ends on August the 31st of the next calendar year.
The autumn semester begins on October the 1st and ends on January the 31st, while the spring semester begins on February the 16th and ends on May the 30th.
Each academic semester consists of thirteen weeks. Each subject is taught four hours per week. Certain subjects are accompanied by a two (2) hours tutorial.
For the award of the Degree of the Department of Regional Economic Development of the University of Central Greece students have to successfully complete forty (40) courses, apart from the Foreign Language course and the course of Special Didactics. Forty (40) of the fifty six (56) subjects are compulsory.
